Hi! I'm Ari, a communicator who likes to keep things concrete. I've led the work on writing the communication strategy for the Turku Employment Region and building its brand. Before that, I spent many years as a communication manager and team lead, turning strategy into everyday practice with a team spread across several countries. What I bring is the whole arc: from big-picture thinking to the measurable steps that take an organisation where it wants to go.
Since 2023, I've worked in the Finnish public sector, where alongside the strategy and brand work I write articles and plan communication for a range of employment projects. I'm also keen on EU communication (Interreg in particular) and geotourism around UNESCO Geoparks, with solid experience in both. I also have a soft spot for science outreach and jump at the chance to do it whenever I can.
Outside work, I design and code for web and print, and build small IoT devices that bridge the physical and digital worlds (skills that have a way of spilling over into my professional life).
I live in Turku, Finland. It would be nice to hear from you, so feel free to drop me a line: ari dot bro zins ki at gmail dot c om (spelled out to keep the spam bots away).
